REFLECTION OF TODAY'S MENTOR MEETING-29-02-2016

Today we had to pick 5 words from our homework which was about hospital and we did a fun activity related to this.

So I picked doctors,medicines,surgeries,hygienic and money. Then we had to write these in a paper and the cut then into small pieces of paper. Next we kept all the words on a table. After that we had to pick 5 important from 15 words and had to write a paragraph to describe hospital.

The second activity we did was, we had to write 5 learner profile and among 15 learner profile we had to pick 5 learner. I n the next mentor meeting we will write essential agreements using 5 learner profile.

We really had fun doing these activities.

REFLECTION OF 25 FEBRUARY 2016.

My reflection on what we did today.

      On Thursday, we discussed our research work that we had to do on a particular model of health care system.We shared each others research work and decided to make a chart based on the health care system model.

We also did an activity of compare and contrast by comparing 2 hospital pictures-One was E.S.I Hospital in Hyderabad which was small and the other was Seven Hills in Mumbai which was big and grand.From admiring the pictures of two hospitals we wrote the differences and similarities between each other.We then had a discussion in which we shared our perspectives.

After this activity, we noted our queries which were related to these hospitals and which we have to answer them by reflecting on the question and if we don't find the solution, we have to research it further.

It was an interesting class where we had an great experience to learn from each other and from our mentors.

We enjoyed a lot!

 

REFLECTION OF THURSDAY-25 FEB 2016

On Thursday we discussed about our research work of our given healthcare system. We also did compare and contrast activity of two hospitals. One was E.S.I hospital which is a small hospital in Hyderabad. The other one is Seven hills hospital which is in Mumbai. Then we had to write our question related to these hospitals and at home we have to reflect the answer, if we don't get the answer so we have to research a bit on the question.

MY REFLECTION OF TODAY-18-02-2016.

My reflection on what we did and learnt today.
        Today, first in the morning with Dr. Sreedevi, we discussed about different systems of health care.We then decided to do more research on individual task.So, we got each model per person to research upon and get chart ideas.We are also going to research on health care system of INDIA.

Then in the evening,with Ms. Neha, we shared the central idea,lines of inquiry and concepts of our topic-THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. After sharing we discussed about the central idea of health care system by brainstorming our understanding.We did this by breaking the central idea into words and jotted down points of what comes to our mind when we think about these words.

We really enjoyed the sessions today and learnt a lot, too, by brainstorming our understanding.We even shared each others ideas and views on the central idea.We learnt how to understand a central idea easily through brainstorming our understanding or thoughts on it.

These sessions were really splendid from which we gained lots of knowledge from each other.

Today's reflection 18-02-2016

Today we discussed about what does our central idea means and brainstormed our understanding of the central idea. We also listed down the main word and what is the word we understand from the central idea.

What is PYP exhibition ?

When we reach in grade 5 there is a project called PYP exhibition.  PYP exhibition is all about what we have learnt through out the years and in this we get a topic, research in depth about it.

Our form tutor decides which person is doing what, by giving us a sheet and we have to fill it with, what is the most important thing like economics, sports and on.

In my team there is Sahdil, Chanakya, Sana and me. We got the topic as health care system, we have the mentor as Ms. Neha and she is gonna help us in each and everything of health care system.
